OUR STORY
Born in Texas and raised across the U.S. and abroad in a military family, Deborah Mohler’s early exposure to diverse cultures and landscapes profoundly shaped her artistic journey. While living in Germany as a teenager, she began formal training in watercolor, pen and ink, pastels, and oils under the guidance of a local artist.
Her work is deeply inspired by the beauty of the natural world, with landscapes and animals serving as her primary subjects. While she works in a range of mediums, she is especially drawn to oils and pastels for their vibrancy, blendability, and expressive range. Deborah accepts commissions but paints primarily for the joy and fulfillment that the creative process brings.
